Musical Services
On the first Friday evening of each month, our cantorial soloist leads a relaxed service accompanied by piano, bass, and drums. The emphasis is on the musical elements that are present in many of the Shabbat prayers.
Special Services

Rosh Hashanah
We celebrate the new year with an evening service at sundown on Rosh Hashanah eve and a day service on Rosh Hashanah. A catered luncheon is held at the temple following the daily service. Following the luncheon, the congregation meets at Lashley Park for a short Tashlich service.

Yom Kippur
We begin our Yom Kippur worship with a Kol Nidre service at sundown on Yom Kippur eve. On Yom Kippur, we have morning, afternoon, and a concluding service. We conclude this day with a Break-the-Fast meal at the temple.

Sukkot
We celebrate this holiday by building and decorating sukkot with families of all ages. A short service is held and concluded with a meal of pizza and drinks.

Shemini Atzeret and Simchat Torah
A more formal service is conducted on this concluding holiday of the Jewish fall festivals.

Chanukah
We celebrate this holiday by building and decorating sukkot with families of all ages. A short service is held and concluded with a meal of pizza and drinks.

Passover
A more formal service is conducted on this concluding holiday of the Jewish fall festivals.

Holocaust Memorial Day
This day is commemorated with an ecumenical service with a local high school choir performance.
