Thank you for your interest in Temple Shalom of Port Charlotte. Whether you’re new to the area, exploring your Jewish identity, or searching for a place to reconnect spiritually and socially, we’re honored that you’re considering becoming part of our community.

Temple Shalom is a vibrant and welcoming Reform congregation, grounded in Jewish tradition and guided by the values of inclusivity, learning, and service. For over 60 years, our synagogue has served as a spiritual home for individuals and families throughout Charlotte County and beyond. We come together for prayer, celebration, education, social connection, and to support one another through all of life’s milestones.

As a member of Temple Shalom, you’ll find:

Membership & Financial Commitment

At Temple Shalom, your membership helps sustain a vibrant Jewish community in Charlotte County. Your dues directly support worship services, educational programs, facility upkeep, security, and spiritual leadership.

We are grateful for your partnership and generosity. Below is a breakdown of our current annual financial commitments:

Payment Options

You may choose to pay:

• Annually
• Semi-annually
• Quarterly
• Monthly

We are committed to ensuring that finances never become a barrier to membership. If you have special circumstances, confidential arrangements can be made. Please reach out to our Treasurer for a private conversation.

Making Your First Payment

New members are asked to include:

• The first quarterly dues payment, and
• The first full-year building fund contribution

with their membership application.

Optional Donations

We welcome additional donations to help us grow and serve. Every gift—of any size—makes a meaningful difference.
