Education
Adult Education
Multiple occasions throughout the year, we convene for “Lunch & Learn” sessions led by the Rabbi or by a knowledgeable congregant.
Temple Shalom invites guest speakers periodically to lecture on a variety of diverse topics.
Temple Shalom Library
Since the time of Moses, the Jewish people have been known as "The people of the book." In the main hall of the synagogue, a cart of books is available for you to borrow and return, or to take and pass on to friends and family. These books are rotated every month from a larger selection of book titles in our main library. Additionally, a book rack features children's books by Jewish authors and those on Jewish themes.
The main library, located in the temple schoolhouse, features an extensive collection of reference books and children's literature. If you are interested, please call Bill Berland at 414-559-6011 to schedule an appointment.
